These two
pictures show an outline of the existing and proposed Sunol
quarries. The second image overlays the quarries onto a photo
of San Francisco (Golden Gate Park and surroundings).

Town
of Sunol
The
Town of Sunol is in the lower-left of this picture. The Sunol Water
Temple is in the middle-right. The San Francisco Public Utilities
Commission (SF-PUC) has proposed a 200 acre gravel quarry for the
fields between the the Water Temple and the town.
This picture is available in two larger sizes: 840x220

(390 kb). The large file shows very good detail of the town
and water temple, but may be slow to download. |

degrees of Sunol
This
photograph is a 360 degree panorama of Sunol and it surroundings.
The right side of the top pane connects with the left side of the
bottom pane. The Town of Sunol is in the center of the top
pane. This picture is available in several different versions: 780x280
(70 kb) and 1600x560
(310 kb).
For the really adventurous, you can also view it as a Movie
